I have discovered a new subspecies of humanoid! I named it,  Rutilus Lux Lucis Natio Nationis or Red light Racer. These unusual creatures exhibit low intelligence, aggressive nature, lack of concern for others and homely complexion.

You can see them weaving in and out of traffic, cutting people off, upsetting other drivers all to come to a screeching halt at a red light. They always stare straight ahead because they know the higher humanoid are giving them dirty looks.

While their behavior is annoying, it is the waste of fuel and perfectly good brake pads that concern me. Accelerating to a red light goes against all logic. Slamming on your brakes instead of allowing nature's gravity and the gearing down of the motor to help slow down exhibits slow mental processes.

On too many occasions  rutilus lux lucis natio nationis  has come to a screeching halt in front of me as the light turns back to green I have to apply my brakes to avoid hitting him. If this lower species would just follow the flow of traffic we would all get to where we are going. Except the human species would use less gas and avoid changing brake pads every six months.

It is time to cull the rutilus lux lucis natio nationis!  Write your politicians and let them know!
