On the other hand this is childs play compared to brutal rituals like the ones performed at the Phuket Festival or The penitencia , in the Philippines, where people really hurt themselves in the name of religion. It would be nice to know why this guy is rolling around on thornes like this, but Im pretty sure this is related to religion too.
