World of Rarities Bizarre and Beautiful Species Found in Nature

The Frilled Shark is an entirely new species of shark found around South Africa. What is exceedingly interesting is that the Frilled Shark was on the books as extinct until it was discovered in Japanese waters in the 19th century.
