Remote-Controlled Cyborg Insects Become a Reality

Electrical engineers at the University of California have developed the world's first cyborg insect, a beetle to be exact. Thanks to electrodes implanted on the beetle's brain and wing muscles along with specialized software, they are able to steer the insect like you would a remote-controlled plane.
