Dear Parents,

I just wanted to let you know that I will be out for the next 3 days. I just found out this afternoon that my mom (83 years old) is having her gall bladder removed. She was going to have this done later in February. Since she was having another minor procedure done tomorrow, they decided to do both on the same day! So…I am on my way to the northern part of the state tomorrow morning. Mrs. Voorhies will be my sub all 3 days. She has been in my classroom before and is very capable.

I know that all be go well but keep her in your prayers!
