Alabmian's First Day of Harvard

On the first day of the school year, at Harvard, a freshman from Alabama is walking across the quad. He stops an upperclassman and asks:

"Excuse me, could you please tell me where the library's at?"

Whereupon the upperclassman sniffed haughtily, and said, "Excuse me, but at Harvard, we don't end our sentences with prepositions."

The Alabamian then replied:

"Oh, I'm sorry, then, -- could you please tell me where the library's at, asshole?"
