Little Johnny's assighnment was to find the most precious thing in his house and bring it in to explain why it was so prized.

When little Johnny came to school the next day and he was called on, he went up to the board and drew a period on the board.
When his teacher, puzzled, asked his what was to precious about it he said, half annoyed.

"Hell if I know, but my sister was missing it, my Mommy fainted, my Dad ran away, and my nieghbor shot himself."
