On the first day of school the teacher is taking attendance and sees the name La-a not sure on the name he calls out "La a?" and the girl raises her hand and says nothing about the pronunciation of her name.

A few weeks later, an angry black woman comes up to the teacher and says "How dare you mispronounce my daughters name."
