One day a farmer goes out to the chicken patch to gather the eggs. He finds none. He realizes his rooster has become too old to fertilize the chickens. So the next day he goes out to the market to buy a new rooster.

A shifty salesman sells the farmer his best rooster. As the farmer brings the rooster to the farm, within minutes the rooster has knocked up each of the chickens in the hen house.

The farmer walks up to the rooster and says "You better slow down or you're gonna kill yourself."

The rooster shrugs and runs off.

The next day the farmer wakes up and realizes the rooster has some how gone and fertilized the sheep and cows. The farmer finds the rooster on the mule and tells him "You better slow down or you're gonna kill yourself."

The rooster laughs and gets back to the duty at hand

The next day the farmer wakes up, goes outside and cant seem to find the rooster, he hunts around before finally spying the rooster laying atop a hill with vultures circling above him. The farmer walks up near the rooster and mumbles "Poor rooster, should've slowed down or he'd still be alive"

The rooster opens one eyes and whispers to the farmer "Psst, go away! I'm trying to get them buzzards."
