A guy was seen running a stop sign and was pulled over. The cop came up to the window and asked if he knew what he had done wrong. Without answering the question, the driver immediately insisted that he was innocent. "Sir, you ran a stop sign" the cop said. "And you were seen; by myself and the children you almost hit. That hardly makes you innocent."
The driver rolled his eyes. "Come on!" he protested. "Stop signs don't mean 'stop!' They mean...slow down!"
Fed up with the drivers idiocy, the officer drew his baton from his belt. "Alright." said the cop. "We'll do it your way. I'm gonna beat you with this baton. You tell me if you want me to stop or slow down."
