Horseback Riding Disaster

Not too long ago, I decided to do something that I had always wanted to do but was afraid to do.

Go horseback riding.

I get to where I'm going and walk up slowly and put one hand on the reigns and the other on the horse's neck. I pet him nicely and whisper in his ear please be gentle. I was told they like to be talked to in a nice even tone before getting mounted.
I took a few deep breaths, put my right foot in stirrup and swung my left over the saddle. So far so good. I grapped the saddle horn and reigns, gave him little heel to the sides and we started to go.

It was amazing. I was actually riding a horse at a nice strolling pace. Everything was going well, then all of the sudden he started to pick up speed. I don't know what happend. I pulledo nthe reigns and yelled WHOA WHOA WHOA..at the top of my lungs. I was bouncing up and down, my head was snapping back and forth, I could feel myself slipping off of the saddle. As the horse picked up speed, and started to buck at the same time I felt myself come out of the stirrups. With a big buck I felt out of the saddle and over the side, one of my feet got stuck. I was hanging on for dear life draped over the side of this horse like a rag doll being tossed around. I hit my head on teh ground a few times and all most lost consciousness. I was screaming for help at the top of my lungs. Just as I was about to get trampled by the sharp and deadly hooves of this runaway horse...I knew I was about to die.

The greeter from K-Mart came out and pulled the plug.
