British archaeologists digging 100 feet below the surface of the earth uncovered evidence of networks of copper wires. Government promoters analyzed the findings and were quick to announce that this was evidence of British ancestors experimenting with broadband internet as early as 1000 years ago.

Not to be out done, German archaeologists dug down 200 feet and uncovered glass wiring. The Germans announced that this was evidence of German ancestors using fiber optics as early as 2000 years ago.

Hearing all of the media buzz and wanting to join in, Polish archaeologists dug down over 500 feet into the earth. There, they found absolutely nothing.

The Polish government announced that, 5000 years ago, their ancestors were using wireless.
