The new Pokémon game, Let's go Pikachu/Eevee came out recently and we wanted to share some lesser known Pikachu facts to celebrate.

Pikachu is spelled ピカチュウ in Japanese.

When translated into English - Pikachu means Electricity-Crackling-Mice.

Pikachu will attack anyone who tugs on it's tail no matter who it is.

Pikachu does amazing impressions of other Pokémon.

Pikachu used to be fat.

Ash's Pikachu pretended to be a girl in the show. Female Pikachus have a heart shaped tail.
