Artists retouched photos of plus sized models in a campaign called "thinner selves".

Photoshop experts and artists started a project where they take images of plus sized models and photoshop them into smaller sizes.

Some of the artists even sent the images to the original models as pictures of their "thinner selves".

This has of course sparked some controversy among different groups both for and against the campaign.

Although many people took this project as offensive, the artists claim that it is to spotlight obesity being a serious threat to health, and to raise awareness for people leading unhealthy lifestyles.
