Emily Lofing, 27, was handed 90 days in prison, ordered to pay $1,000 fine, 240 hours of community service and put on two years probation for being a “predator”.

She had “birthday sex” with her 16-year-old pupil after bible school, which happened last July – just over two years after she got married.

Had the sexual encounter happen even a day before, she would have received much more severe charges, as 16 is the age of "consent".

Recent male teachers in similar situations are tagged for life as predators and sentenced to at least 10+ years in prison.

Former basketball coach Kyle Cox is currently spending 14+ years in prison for sending sexts to a 15-year-old student.

However, no sexual contact ever occurred with this man's affair.

Definitely seems to be a double standard going on here.

Salary might not be as high for women, but neither is prison sentences!
