The father's oldest son released a statement to the press saying that he "fears for [his] sibling's safety." -

Martin Martinez is a dad who was accused of killing his girlfriend, their six-year-old son, and three other people who were on a camping trip. This comes after he was a Modesto Sherrif's Department suspect in the murder of his stepson by blunt force trauma. -

Detroit-based mother, Mitchelle Blair, was sentenced to life in prison for torturing two of her children, ages 9 and 13, to death by making them drink Windex and burning their skin off with scalding water. After purchasing the gun, Reynolds took it back to the motel room where he and Villescas (who was pregnant) were staying with the three year old and their two-year-old daughter. Reynolds left the pistol loaded and ready to fire in Villescas's purse. As one detective wrote in the report, the toddler “discovered the firearm and armed himself.” The three year old fired one shot which penetrated Reynolds’s buttock and exited, passing through Villescas’ upper right arm and embedding itself in the wall behind her. -
