Privacy International - 10 Worst Countries for Surveillance

These countries are rated the worst in the world for failing to protect against surveillance abuse, lacking privacy protections, and data exploitation. Data came from Privacy International's most recent report -2007- I put the gallery and captions together.

As London has the most surveillance cameras monitoring the public than anywhere in the world, this plays some role in England's worldwide rank. -

The top four countries that are leading in privacy rights? Greece, Canada, Hungary, and Romania. It is worth mentioning that only Greece was rated as having adequate protections against overpowering surveillance on its citizens. -

Not a single country is rated as having significant safeguards against surveillance or consistently upholding standards against invasion of privacy, by the state or otherwise.
