Game 1- Larry Johnson will torture the Raiders run defense, opening up the passing game and allowing Kansas City to cover the spread against the Raiders (KC-24 Oak-13)

Game 2- Tough pick. The Bengals offense really struggled in the opener, you've gotta think they'll get something going especially with the talent. Couple that with Vince Young's recent off field issues and the edge has gotta go to Cinncinati. (Cincy-31 Titans-28)

Game 3- After watching Matt Forte go wild on the Colts I'm not expecting the defense to fair any better against one of the leagues newest and best backs in Adrain Peterson. (Minn-28 Indy-21)

Game 4- The game is at Washington and the home team usually gets +3 just for home field. it's a Pick 'em game and I'm going with the Saints. Look for their offense to come alive this week. (Saints- 31 Wash-21)

Game 5- Even though it's at Detroit you've gotta like the Packers in this one. After watching Aaron Rodgers pass for two scores against a solid Vikings defense (3 if the Donald driver TD hadn't been called back) he shouldn't have any problem picking apart the Lions and covering the spread. (Green Bay-24 Detriot-17)

Game 6- Although Carolina beat a Chargers team that was expected to be very good this year the edge still goes to the bears. After watching Forte against the Colts he just may be this years Adrain Peterson. Bears defense nearly gets a shut-out. (Chi-27 Carolina- 6)

Game 7- Saint Louis looked awful in week one but I'm confident they'll turn it around somewhat. I forsee a Giants victory but not enough to cover the spread. I'll take the Rams and the 8.5. (N.Y.G.-21 Rams-14)

Game 8- Another tough game to pick. Jacksonville came into the season with moderate Super Bowl hype but after a rough start and a not completely composed QB in Garrard they're not looking so invincible. I still think 5 isn't enough for Buffalo. Jacksonville covers the spread (Jags-24 Bills-17)

Game 9- Michael Turner looked good, as did Matt Ryan. Toughie, but my gut says go with the Falcons to cover although barely. (Atl-17 T. B.-9)

Game 10- San Fran takes a tough one, covering by half a point. (49ers-23 Seattle-16)

Game 11- Chad Pennington put up a nice effort against the Jets in Miami's season opener but I think the difference in this game withh be Kurt Warner and Larry Fitsgerald hooking up for two TDs. (Cards-31 Fins-21)

Game 12- Too Easy New England over the Jets easily. Brett Favre's performance was mostly skill but there had to be some luck in there. He converted a 4th and 13 for a TD. Losing Brady hurts but not enough to make them a 1.5 underdog to the Jets. Pats cruise in this one. (N.E.- 31 N.Y.J.-17)

Game 13- Ladanian Tomlinson isn't quite at 100% and merriman's out. After last week I'm buying into Cutler more and more. He's the difference and the Broncos win at home in this Pick 'em game. (Den-27 S.D.-14)

Game 14- ***LOCK OF THE WEEK*** Pittsburgh has beaten Cleveland AT Cleveland the last seven times they've played. I expect nothing to change. With Parker's running game opening Roethlisberger's passing attack the Steelers cover the spread. (Pitt-31 Browns-20)

MONDAY NIGHT GAMES

Dallas 6.5 point favorite over Philidelphia

Houston 4.5 favorite over Baltimore

Monday Night Game 1- Tough game but I think Dallas' defense is just a bit stronger than Philidelphia's helping them edge out a ein and cover the spread. (Dallas-30 Philidelhpia-20)

Monday Night Game 2- Flacco looked good but of course that was against a struggling Bengal's defense. Too early to get a good indicator on either team. I'm going on defense and the QB position. I think that gives Baltimore the slight edge, barely covering the spread. (Ravens- 27 Texans-21)

Supernatural is easily one of my favorite shows ever. My girlfriend got me into it. The show revolves around two brothers and their father who fight demons. I know, sounds stupid, right? I thought the same thing I'm not usually into the whole supernatural creature stuff but I gave it a chance and I really wish you would also. if you do I highly suggest watching it from the first season on. Season three has already wrapped up on television on the CW. Which again, don't judge the network it's on. The series is full of suprises and it's interesting how they fight off creatures it explains it all and makes the whole thing very believable. In the first episode we find out that when Dean was around 6 and Sam 2 a creature invaded their home. it opens up flashing back to when the brothers were little boys and their mother walks by their room. it's night time she came because she heard Sam (The younger brother) who is around 2 in this scene crying. She sees a man she believes to be her husband standing with him so she walks on. Only to find her husband in the next room asleep on the recliner. She rushes back into the room and the demon (All demons and most other monsters are human form. Nothing weird like see through ghost spirits...) The demon uses his powers to pin her against the wall and then to the ceiling where he sets her on fire, killing her. This gets John (The brother's dad) into hunting demons and other supernatural forces int he first place. Flash Forwards twenty years... Dean has stayed with his father hunting things while Sam has drifted away from that lifestyle and went to college at Stanford. Dean shows up at Stanford at his brother and Jessica's (Sam's gf) dorm. he tells Sam that their dad is out on a "job" and hasn't been back for about a month. They keep what they do secret. Sam reluctantly agrees to go with Dean to look for him. (They look for most of the season before finding him) The creature featured in that first episode is a "Woman in White". What that is is a spirit that's appearing in the cars of random guys along a certain highway stretch. Seducing them then violently killing them. The police only find an empty car and no bodie or blood. Through research of the local area's deaths on the highway they find out who she was. (*All spirits were once human. They stay on earth if for various reasons (Revenge, guilty feeling, etc...) They also find out why she only kills guys by looking up what a WOman in White is in their Dad's journal which Dean has. The journal catalogues most every supernatural creature, what they are and how to get rid of them. A Woman in White is a woman who was cheated on by her husband and will only target guys in a committed relationship. If they cheat then she kills them. Since Sam has a girlfriend he agrees to go alone and kill the creature. (This is after they tried getting rid of her another way. There are various ways, one is digging up the person's bones and salting and burning them. This didn't work here so they're going with this method. They've still yet to find out what's keeping her here. Sam's driving alone and she appears in the car with him offering herself. Sam simply tells her that he's not going to cheat so she can't kill him. Which is what they believed to be true but she forces herself on him. Sam slams on the brakes in front of what used to be this woman's house (Which is by a bridge on the end of the highway. She's on Sam clawing away when Dean shows up and shoots the spirit with rock salt from a gun. (This drives the spirit away for a 5-10 minute period. After making sure Sam is ok they wait and see the spirit on the bridge. (Which is again right next to the house) The spirit jumps off the side, messing with them as it comes back up and in Dean's car driving toward them. Eventually they get the car back and she appears inside. Dean drives through her house into the middle of it and the spirit is laying on the floor inside. She goes to attack but stops as we see the spirits of two children at the top of the stairs. Water begins running down the stairs and the children walk down toward their mother and pull her back down to hell. Which puts her spirit to rest. So in this situation her spirit was staying around because it felt guilty about drowning her own children. (They find out she went mad when her husband left and cheated so she hung her children and leapt off the bridge committing suicide which explains the spirit doing that sam thing, messing with sam and Dean. At the end of the show Sam goes back to Stanford because he only agreed to try one time to find their dad with Dean. Sam walks inside to his bedroom to find Jessica (His gf) pinned to the wall by the same Demon who killed their mother so many years ago. Jessica is lifted to the ceiling and burnt also. This drives Sam into hunting full time with his brother. That's episode one. I really hope you read and hope you're interested but as I said buy Season one on DVD and watch in order. Ruins it if you watch out of order as there are a lot of suprises along the way. I hope you'll consider watching it, it's a very great show on a shitty network for some reason. Also, as I said if you're not the type of person that gets into all this sci-fi stuff well neither am I. I promise you it's not as stupid as you think. I VERY reluctantly gave it a chance I hope you will too. I could log the second episode tomorrow if there's enough demand for it and if this one hasn't quite peaked your intrest. Thanks SO much for reading if you've made it this far.

I woke up this morning around four am and got in the shower. After showering and brushing my teeth I got dressed to go to work. I got on the interstate since I have to travel to another city for my job. I arrived there around 8 am and starting in on my cutting list. (I'm a butcher) I found that today I typically was slower than I usually am and got a little behind because of it. i'm still wondering why I was so slow today. Either way, I only took one fifteen minutes break because of the slowness and got home around 4:30pm. After getting here mom went out to get something to eat, I'm currently sitting here waiting on my food. That's how my day's been so far. If you must be negative in the comments I see a few things you could pick out so i'll defend them in advance. Butcher is a shitty job... Yeah, probably but it's putting me over $10 and hour and got full time. I'm just nineteen, saving for college. not like I'm 40-something just starting out in this. Also the staying at home thing, once again, nineteen. Also, makes it easier to save up when I don't have rent/utilities/etc... And some may wanna call me a fatass, etc for the fastfood thing. I'm in pretty good shape so that's not going to work either. Not posting this for comments or ratings, posting this just because I want to. I'd prefer no comments/ratings but that won't happen. Seems some people make a habit of going from blog to blog inserting their smart ass comments which i suppose makes them feel better about their own pathetic life. And if you "don't care how my day was" Why the hell did you click on the link? "My day thus far" Pretty clear what you're getting into.

Just a small reminder to anyone happening upon this blog, the University of Kentucky men's college basketball team is historically the most dominant men's college basketball team ever. Arguements can be made for UCLA, Indiana, North Carolina and Possibly Duke. I'll dispute them. First Duke. They beat us in '92 and that shot forever plays over and over especially at tourney time but that's their only shining moment. All time series records shows an edge for Kentucky 11 wins to 6 losses. Also 7 national titles to 3. Second Indiana, same deal. Kentucky has more national titles, more NBA Draftees, more wins etc... As for UNC The comparisons go as follows All time wins? #1 UK #2 UNC. 7 titles to 4 favoring Kentucky, Kentucky owns the series record not to mention Kentucky has been more historically dominant. as is the case with UCLA. UCLA may have 11 championships but most came in a ten year period. No doubt serious violations were probably never caught. Can't say anything bad about Wooden. Anyways, 11 to 7 is a good arguement for them but they've been insignificant historically except that period and here recently. UK has won titles in '48, '49, '51, '58, '78, '96 and '98. Which coupled with the fact that UK also has all time wins, highest winning percentage, etc... over them proves that in college basketball look no furthers than the University of Kentucky's men's basketball team for a true measure of dominance.

I'd really appreciate everyone who would be my friend on here because it'd be nice to be on my profile and see more than 5 friends in my friends box. Anyways if you've read my blog this far thank you and again, I'd really like if you'd consider being my friend on here. To those wanting to leave comments they're appreciated.
Blast Billiards is the most awesome game ever. I highly recommend everyone who happens to read this blog to instantly go try it. You don't even have to finish this if you don't want to. It's a ten level pool game where the object is to sink the bombs posing as pool balls as quick as possible. Level one starts out with the bombs at 100, then level two at 95 and so on. Starting with level three there's a new object placed on the board. it's a bunch of dynamite and you've got to try not to hit them, if you do your game is over. Points are acquired by sinking the balls. The game uses the number of seconds left on the ball to give you points (One second equals one point) There are various groups dedicated to the game which include a 3000+ point club and a 3300+ point club. both of which set goals to work towards. You could also choose to join a Blast Billiards tournament or make your own to compete against others. Another intersting aspect to the game is that user Hurricane1 has set up a Blast Billiards League in which scheduled games are played and results tabulated and it all eventually ends with an elaborate playoff system. Season one is wrapping up and Season two is about to being make sure to register by August 16th. Thanks for reading the blog now get out there and play Blast Billiards!
