Did you know Dracula character is based on a real person? Back in ancient times a ruler, Dracula, was known for torturing more people than anyone. He had random citizens impaled as means to scare other people. Dracula put people on a long wooden pole with a point on the end. The pole was inserted through a persons butt and came out their mouth. Early recordings of this said that people would stay alive for two days on the pole. Recent research has found that it was possible for a person to stay alive with a pole through their body for up to two days if the pole was sharpened correctly and inserted through the body correctly . Around 20,000 of his citizens were killed this way. When an army came to attack Dracula the Commander of the army turned around when he saw thousands of bodies hanging on poles.
