As many of you...at least the ones who matter have noticed, I blogged this shit up for a bit, then disappeared. Welp, as it turns out, the viruses that inundate this website are far too much for my puny work computer to handle. I usually have too much to do outside of working hours to log on and spend any great length of time here, so that explains my absence from the cesspool that is Ebaumsworld.
I've noticed there was quite a battle that I missed between the trolls and the actual real people in the blog section. I'm sorry I missed it, but alas, I am powerless. Almost like a little darkie baby in the sticks of Africa is powerless against the HIV virus. However, the fantastic thing is, my husband is so ridiculously computer savvy that I am currently butt-fucking any and all viral attacks as we speak. I came at least 14 different times in the timespan I've been on here thus far.
Anywho, I'm blogging elsewhere. Actually was asked to blog for an actual reputable site ... Read more ...
Sidenote: My last blog vanished into the EBW abyss. I've noticed, but don't really care enough to repost, nor do I have that much spare time on my hands.
Hubs and I had a rather chill night last night. Sat home with a couple brews and watch "Idiocracy". All-in-all I'd say the movie itself was rather predictable, and the jokes lacked creativity. However, the premise of it all got me thinkin'. (No, I'm not going to give a summary. Go to imdb for that shenanigans)
We're all really fucking stupid. I tend to blame technology for the vast decline of the IQ in our society. Before you get out the torches and pitchforks, let me explain.
Think back, say....50 years or so. Any grade-school child could tell you what the original thirteen colonies were, the capital of Italy, and the fighting powers in both World Wars. Meanwhile, they would go home after school, wait for their television to heat up for 5 minutes before being able to watch it, call their friends on a ... Read more ...
Abortion, much like religion and politics has always been a relatively taboo subject that one tries to stay away from in mixed company. The kicker about it is, it tends to take on a life of its own, with the ability to encompass both politics and religion, two topics which people throughout history have killed for. I've always been pro-choice with a caveat or two thrown in for good measure. I do think that it should be a woman's choice to terminate a pregnancy if she was raped. I also think that there should be a choice given if there is something terminally wrong with the fetus. Yes, I know Beethoven was born into a litter of retards, along with the blind, deaf, and dumb. However, I have also been witness to a good friend giving birth to and falling in love with her child, only to have it die 4 days later from complications that she was told about months in advance. I couldn't imagine that kind of heartbreak, and I believe that there are many people out there that would choose not to.

I've been suffering from a real bitchin' case of writers block recently, and it's really starting to piss me off. There has obviously been plenty of inspiration as of late, what with the Rapture coming and going, and the "Macho Man" just....going. But honestly, do you all really need to hear my opinion on the 7th failed doomsday? I'm sure by now you all know how I stand on the matter. Now the Macho Man...I was more of an Ultimate Warrior chick, myself. It's still pretty sad, though. He was way too young. <-- There ya have it, totally not blog-worthy.
I've also been asked to take a more proactive approach to my blogging, and try to fuck this writers block right in the ass. It's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. I'm not promising anything, at all, but I will write just to write. To help keep the momentum of the entire section going, and to keep it from taking the downward spiral into pages upon pages of people writing about how they hate other bloggers. This isn't elem ...
