I'm really tired of everybody damning this politician, praising that one, calling that one a savior, calling the other the devil. There's something that a lot of people need to realize, THEY"RE ALL FUCKING POLITICIANS! They will tell you what you want to hear, what will make them the most money or what will garner them the position they desire. I'm not talking about a particular democrat or republican, I'm talking about EVERY politician. I'll believe that a politician cares about the economy when they reduce the income of all politicians and pay taxes for the betterment of society.

Honest politics are long dead, if you want to resurrect it, take the profit down to a meager salary of 50,000 yearly and tax it. I guarantee that all of these career politicians will seriously reconsider their life choices, and new politicians who actually give a rats ass about this country will step up and be recognized. Make it a career of passion and not of profit, (or tax free living) and you'll see people wh ... Read more ...

The Mayan calendar is going to end in what we have deciphered is the year 2012 on the 21st day of the 12th month. Of corse all of the little doomsday theorists have there two-bit theories as to what the Mayans were getting at by ending said calendar. Through significant research (to include all the kookie two-bit theories) I found what I believe to be the most credible answere to the question. The calendar isn't actually ending, it's restarting.

Much as the Y2K scare, people are freaking out because this little tid-bit isn't nearly as fascinating as a potential end of our exsistance (and it's less marketable). You see, one of the more fact based and scientifically explanitory diatribes I came upon explained it as such: "The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. (13.0.0.0.0 in the Long Count), represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what that ancient Maya recogni ... Religion is on a steady decline, but people need something to believe in, so where does that leave everybody? It seems to me that politics are taking place of religion, and why not? Politics have a belief structure based on what people feel is good and right, the only thing that religion has over it is an omnipotent overseer... and the accountability that comes with it.

This being stated, what does that mean for those who don't handle their beliefs easily. Would it be too much ta say that it may not be too long before a new civil war broke out between the liberals and conservatives? Given the nature of man and the way that we have handled our religion in the past, who's to say that politics wont be handled the same? We already see people getting into fist fights about politics, and others seem to get offended if we don't ingest what we are attempting to cram down their throats.

It would appear that comprimise is out of the question, we either have it our way, or our way. No one i ... Read more ...

Nothing on this planet makes me laugh harder than an Anarchist. Mostly because the same people who support Anarchy could typically never survive in such an environment. With no laws to protect you, you'd be subjected to raids and violence. Perhaps we should give the anarchists a taste of what they want, put them in a little commune with no laws or regulatory system. I'll bet anything that after the first raid whoever is left alive will come out screaming about how much they love the american justice system. After only a few moments, a few unsavory individuals would catch wind of a place that has food and supplies and has no laws to protect them. Best of all, they're mostly a bunch of spindly legged dorks who, in all likelyhood, could hardly defend themselves. I hope one day these fools get their wish, so they can truely understand just what it means to be without laws or protection.

I meant to write this blog on MLK day, however, I was busy and I kept putting it off.

Dr. King's famous speech states that his dream was that the words in the constitution would ring true, that all me would be treated as equals. So, the question needs to be asked, why the hell is there such a thing as 'Affirmative Action'. Why is there such a thing as a hate crime (in any capacity).

A job should go to those with the most qualifications and skills, they should not be decided by the color of a man's skin.

Hate is the basis for many crimes, racially motivated crimes are no more hate crimes than when a man who hates the government defaces city hall.

I have to wonder just what Dr. king would say if he were still here today, I honestly think it would be something along the lines of, "This isn't quite what I was talking about."
