Here's something I think people missed. With eBones, you get 1 point per view on your media. Before, on individual items, we would start off getting 1 eRep per 10 views, 2 per 10 once it reached 1,000 views, and 3 per 10 once it reached 10,000. Usually, videos didn't reach over 100,000 views, so at best, you would be getting around 0.3 ereps per view. A good portion of your points came from uploads that were never featured and rarely exceeded 1,000 views. These uploads would be getting 1-2 eReps per 10 views. Now we get 1 to 1 (5x-10x more) on those and 3.33x more on our big uploads that go over 10,000. I would say that we get points, at the very least, 5x as fast as the old system.
Too many bs numbers? We get points at least 5x as fast now.
Now, are the prizes equivalent? Not really. The prizes are worse. You could have gotten an archos for 500,000(ish) ereps before which you could easily sell for $300 and now you can get $200 for the same cost. However, we get points 5x as fast, so this is offset. Now we can get 2,500,000 points for doing the same work it took to get the archos and get ourselves one fuckin grand. That, and personally, I like cash better.
Obvious protips:
-Only go for the $100 visas.
-Never get the $75 visa even if you're quitting. You will be able to get the extra 25k eBones to get the $100 by waiting a few weeks tops.
