How is it enviromentally friendly, in this day and age to shut down local businesses and move jobs to India and China?
Doesn't it cost more to ship from way over there to US and Canada, than to truck it from your local facility? You would think that with the soaring cost of oil we would just smarten up and deal locally. Why does Walmart only sell stuff made in China, why can't we sell our cars in Asia like we let them sell here?
The GM plant in Ontario, Canada has shut down because there is more demand for imports than domestic vehicles. Now, before you say that Hondas and other imports are made better, are cheaper and last longer, consider the fact you are selling out your own neighbors. i am so horribly impatient with everyone. Coupled with the fact that i just don't give a damn anyways; i find that most people i talk to like to quibble and moan about the most insignificant detail. Say something new, refreshing or revelatory, something that i might just not know. God, people can be so horribly stupid i wonder why i put up with it. But i do. They whine, kvetch and yap about the most inane things. If you are bored, say so. If something displeases you, say so. But fuck, don't make me listen to every moronic syllable that escapes you. Some like to talk it out, sure, but why make me listen to all that? Like the people at work, here I am listening to them and it turns out to be the same old vitriol day after day.
