All this political crap has got me pretty ticked off......Obama said this, McCain said that, Palin says this but her daughter did that......I'm fucking sick of it.  And I'm not even in the States right now.  I have, since I was 18, refused to vote because of the political bullshit.  Since when has a candidate actually done what they've promised for the American voters?  I've not seen it once.  I'm intelligent....and I'll bet there are many other Americans who are as well, but this crap is an insult to my intelligence.  I'm not ignorant.  I know how the US government works....after all, I'm married to government property and I do work for the US government as well. 

Ok, I'll step off my little soap box now......

Once again, I ended up at the base hospital.  This time it was this morning.  I started spotting, and really I shouldn't be doing this at 20 weeks.  Nice.  Thanks little baby for scaring the crap (see previous blog about pooping) right outta me.  The only really cute thing out of the whole ordeal was that the baby, during an ultrasound, flashed us a peace sign!  So, all's well, except that my unborn baby has a sick sense of humor!

Due to a little 4 hour trip to the base ER Friday, I found out I'm anemic.....so much fun when you're pregnant.  So that means in addition to the prenatal vitamins with iron I already take, I'm now on these nasty scary big assed iron pills.  Oh, like pooping is ever gonna happen now.  Great.  Just what I needed.  I suppose I'd better get used to not taking a dump for the next 4 months, huh?

DISCLAIMER----I'm 5 months pregnant, and can put up with a lot, but this takes the cake!

I told my boss the other day that I was planning to quit when I have my baby in 4 months.  She tried to talk me out of it!  I've never before had the opportunity to stay home when my older kids were newborns, and I have that opportunity now, so I really want to take advantage it. 

I mean, why would you try to talk someone out of being home with their child?  By the time we get in the base daycare system, my baby would be close to a year old, and my paycheck would only cover daycare and gas.....so not worth it in the long run.  And once again, I'd miss out on the firsts that all babies do.....that's just not something I want to sacrifice this time around....

I will be quitting in 4 month's time....watch me!

Yep...you read that right, I have spent the entire day in my jammies.....why? Because I felt like it....it's my day off, so why not?  Besides, it feels good to lounge around in my jammies.....not like I'm going anywhere today......aaah....this feels so nice to put my feet up and not have to worry about how I look.......
