I wrote a short little humorous blog about Grease and played a little homophone game with the subject matter and after I was finished thought of Gilda Radner doing a SNL skit where she would end with "Oh never mind". I really havent written regularly in a while and was happy with the finished joke and then a blog written by I dont know  "who cares about the south" where such comments were made to defend his attack on another blogger  "Take a look
at the schmuck who went on and on about
how "we" shouldn't care about
Greece.
I am laughing the whole time I wrote this because it shows he never even read my little funny story but instead went into Americas favorite game "I want to argue and know have no idea what you said"

Every time you pick up a paper you hear about Greece and the devil himself  saturated fats. The simple truth is Olive oil taste better and when deep frying foods nothing holds up better that Peanut oil. I am from the south so for years I used bacon Greece whenever I cooked because face it as Emeril says "pork fat rules" and he aint wrong. I bake and cook and to be honest guys I am getting pretty damn good at it but we spend way too much time talking about food and its part of the reason we have on obesity problem here in America (looking at ground in shame).
I admit that for the most part I am not up to date on Europe or the Euro dollar and this whole thing about Greece and why what type of oil you use will effect the global economy. I guess its time to put my spatula down and pat attention to the world wide problem of Greece and its big problem that it is causing us all.

I haven't written for quite some time, mainly because the blog section turned in a direction that just wasn't what I was looking for I guess. The reason I am writing today is political and oh yea everybody loves politics....NOT!
I watch these younger men and women out there screaming about the rich and the unfairness of life and most of me believes exactly that, but that isnt what I wanted to say. I am looking at this through a fathers eyes and my youngest daughter just graduated from college and I watch her struggle in these uncertain times. This is heart breaking to a parent to watch this journey she is on and I found myself angry and pissed at this whole damn society and the loss of motivation to just do better, do something! Then I realized damn it they are doing something and their parents are actually talking smack at these kids out there fighting for what they believe in. Big Brother is in your pants, Walmart is going to be selling underwear with censors in them. I dont know what they are tracking it could be any number of things is it time to change them, who you sleeping with or where you party and who with. The censor stays with the underwear and doesnt come off. I was watching this on a flip through on Morning Joe a semi-news show. They didnt load up the picts because of it being to risqué but either way some people (like myself) are already to paranoid and have enough going on down there we dont need Big Brother watching the Big snake.

The longer I live the less I see of it, have we all gotten so wrapped up in ourselves we cant give out a little compassion? How about just a small nod to your neighbor and instead of ignoring the homeless man on the street give a buck is it going to kill you? I know heard it all they probably make more money than you do, they are going to buy drugs or booze and of course how do I know he even needs it? Give 1 dollar to five people bet at least one needs it and wouldn't you give 5 bucks to someone who needed it. Hell if you donate to a charity 4/5ths of it goes to the people who collect the money anyway. Just a short time ago my neighborhood homeless guy was found dead, I used to give him a 5 on Fridays and when I would take my cans to recycle I gave him that money. He was found dead behind a dumpster, alone and a few bucks in his pockets and everything he owned sitting beside him. Well what do you know they were right we dont take it with us and "We dont get out of this world alive"....Hank Williams.
