Ok well let me start off by saying I am fully aware that this seems perfect for a tv show or sounds like it came from a tv show but anyway here goes...

I was on the train from Otford to Borough Green and all of a sudden over the intercom we have the Inspector person announce over that the train infront at the next station is having trouble with their brakes and as a result can only go 5mph to be safe, normally I wouldn't of minded but as some of you in the UK may know we are currently having a Heatwave of epic proportions so I was stuck on a non moving Train which meant no draft at all and to top it off because of a Fuse Box problem the heating was on so we had pure explicit sun directly on us in an enclosed tube of metal surrounded by over 100 sweaty people with no draft we also had the heaters on full. I was NOT happy, because of the slow moving train ahead of us a short 15 minute journey at most turned out to be 40 minutes long in the boiling heat.

Along the way the driver because of the faulty train in front had to stop off at every station on the way to pick up people that would of got the first train as obiously they couldnt go on it anymore so at the first stop the driver said he'd stop for a while to let everyone cool down so we stop and all of a sudden we hear a scream. Oh yes, the ticket inspector guy when we stopped had tried to get out of his little cabin but had slipped and had his Foot slip between the Train and Platform which got caught on the step and he broke his ankle. Now we had to wait for the paramedics to arrive which took a good half hour for them to see to him, make sure he's ok and take him away so we were given the choice of sitting out in the Sun on the Platform or in the train which was starting to smell of sweat and was like an oven thanks to the full on heat from Sun and Radiators.

So, he was seen to and after spending an hour and half on a boiling Train on a 15 minute journey I got home, tired, hot and very sweaty.

To top it off really randomly a Nun gets on in her full Nun uniform which is fully black as you know so I have no idea what she was thinking but oddly she wasn't  sweating which enforces my idea that Nuns are unholy creatures.
