okay.... here goes. for some idiotic reason, Titanic, holds the record for usa box office. it's total cumulative gross was $600,788,188 and a world wide box office of over $2billion, and as far as I know, won every single award it went up for making it a cinematic legend.
My question is... WHAT THE FUCK?!?! Are you fucking kidding me? Did anyone watch the show? Because that movie features some of the worst acting I have ever seen. If you don't believe me, then go watch the movie yourself and compare it to some movies like, A Beautiful Mind, or I am sam, or Rain Man, or all the films where all the real acting is happening. this is not to say that DiCaprio is a bad actor. I know he is a good actor. just not in this movie, neither is kate winslet.
Those movies (and a whole lot more, like, Dark Knight, for one) have better story line, structure, acting, and effects. (yes, I know Titanic came out in '97 and effects have gotten a lot better since then, but look at the first star wars series. I'm more impressed by those movies) bottom line is this movie does not deserve all of it's recognition. I hope Dark Knight takes over. Though that is probably wishful thinking. please, please, please, someone kill that movie and all that it's done.
