manson family values

(5)

so my husband and i like to host parties for our friends. and we have had quite a few in the last few months. i love to cook and i have to admit that im pretty good at it to. but one problem we always come across is my husbands friends kids! when they come over and they bring there kids the kids think they can run my house! everytime they are here the kids jump on my couches and bump into things. they also get food everywhere. one time one of there kids went into my bathroom and wasted an entire bottle of 90 dollar perfume that my husband bought for me while he was away for work. im not the kind of person to who yells or gets to angry about things but this is getting way out of hand!  it amazes me that some people can allow there kids to run all over someone elses home. we have a brand new lcd flat screen and one of the kids hit it with a toy car. thankfully it didnt get damaged but the father of the child said nothing and did nothing. im not really sure of a tactful way of telling these people they need to control there little monsters.  also all of our friends are very close so when we invite some of our friends over i feel like it may be rude if we dont invite the manson family to. i hate having this obligation. i wouldnt mind it if i new what to do to control it. as a mother i know how it can feel when someone tells you how to raise your own children so im not sure how to aproach this situation. my husband gets angry and says things to them which in turn pisses them off. they are good people i just cant stand there children. and it comes as no suprise that they have a hard time finding a sitter for our parties..............lets be honest i wouldnt babysit them. i just dont know what to do. has anyone gone through this before? what did you do?
