I logged onto AOL today and I found this news story on the welcome screen.

He was at a gun fair, where he was shooting an Uzi submachine gun. He was being watched by his father and a "certified instructor" when the force of the gun caused it to fly back and shoot him in the face.

I am getting sick and tired of seeing all these stupid ads. If they would stay in the little bars next to the content then it wouldn't bother me but they crossed the line with me when I tried to click on a video but instantly an ad popped up0 and redirected me to some other site. That's not even it, I clicked back to EBW and tried to click the videos tab on the left when the same thing happened. I wish Ebaums would stop selling the whole home page to these stupid ads.

What has lowered the gas prices.

I am sure I could find the answer on the internet somewhere but I though I would ask some of you on your opinions. I know oil prices dropped a little, but enough to lower prices to what they were a year ago?

I know this sounds completely stupid and everone's heard it a million times but I'm a teenager and I need some cash. I actually need it for a reason, not just for stupid shit.

I worked all summer babysitting a demon child but that was only for the summer. Now school has started and I have no weekly income. I have saved almost every dime I made babysitting for a car, and I was praying I would find one I like within my price range. I went on craigslist and scowered the entire site, mainly looking for third generation camaros. If you don't know thats the I-Roc style (80s). I found one close to home and I love it. The only problem is that it is about $300 out of reach for me. 

I have put job applications at every fast food restaurant and grocery store within 5 miles of me but never even got an interview. I am looking to my fellow ebaum users to give me some ideas on how to raise some funds, and kind of fast because with my luck I'll make enough money right after the guy with the car sells it.

I have been thinking about something a lot lately, that being why does the United States Treasury continue production of the penny? 

I think I read somewhere it costs the treasury about 3 cents to make a penny. I am not saying that the 2 cents will make a dramatic change in the economy but if you think of all the pennies made every day and you realize that the government is losing tons of money.

Another thing that irks me is that when you go to stores, you almost always see a 'Give-a-penny Take-a-penny' tray which is full of this useless tender. 

Honestly how many people walking down the street will pick up a penny when they see it? (Doesn't count if you only pick it up hoping for 'good luck')

All pennies really do is take up space and cost money. Eliminate them.
