So the time again comes near. Who will the churning masses chooses as the next "Leader of the free world"? Each have their owns views(of course, or else there would be no point to the election process now would there?) on different things, and bring certain things to the table. What the American people need to do is this: look past the age and color barrier. I talk to my peers and sometime my friends and, surprisingly enough, some said they were going to vote for McCain because they 'fear' a black president. Others said they would vote for Obama because they think a geriatric isn't what we need right now. Huh? Did I hear correctly? Age and race shouldn't be a problem or an issue in these race to the white house. Why have Americans not moved beyond these boundries? People, we need to come together and make the right choice, or else the depression we just narrowly avoided will rear its ugly head toward our shores once more.

Am I the only person in the military that thinks this so called 'war' is pointless? There isn't a day where a civilian will ask my viewpoint ont his war, I tell them, and not even a minute later, i got some brainwashed 'boot' (Someone who hasn't deployed) telling me I had not right doing that. What the fuck?! Someone who's been out of boot camp for a week has the nerve to tell me that?! And I think I'm justified in my thinking. I've done two combat tours, both in Fallujah and have almost bit the bullet more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. Point being, don't be afraid to voice your opinions but, don't bash down others for theirs. Everyone is entitled to their own say in alot of matters that affect this counrty we live in.
