PHOENIX -- A Surprise traffic stop ended in a suicide early Tuesday morning when the vehicle's driver slit his throat, authorities said.

According to a news release from the Surprise Police Department, officers stopped George Lajeunesse, 43, because he was wanted for questioning in connection with a domestic violence call.

During the traffic stop, Lajeunesse brandished a large kitchen knife, police said. He refused to drop the weapon, and the officer deployed a Taser stun gun while Lajeunesse sat in his car.

Lajeunesse then slit his own throat, police said.

Officers rendered first aid until paramedics arrived, and Lajeunesse was airlifted to a nearby medical center, where he was pronounced deceased.

The incident is currently under investigation, police said.

Surprise is west of Sun City and slightly south of Oaxaca, Mexico in average ethnicity.  Can you just see this guy?
