At 11:23am Apr, 16 2009 : freezing randomly on the psp. So just get by the part, save, recopy back to ps3 and continue. If all goes well, enjoy. This same thing happened to me replaying through FF8, got all the way to the third disk and it kept freezing on one screen load. I just made a copy of the cd (if you do do that I recommend using Alcohol 52% Also having custom firmware will let you play any psp game. Just download the rom (torrent works best) put the iso on your psp and play. Hope all this helped.

At 11:19am Apr, 16 2009 : The Ps3 does play ps2 games, but not all I believe. But still it is a large amount of games you can play. As for using your PSP to get past the spot it will take alot of work. What you have to do is put custom firmware on your PSP, this will let you load images of roms right onto the psp and play it on the psp. Google how to put custom firmware on your psp and you should find a few guys. It does take a bit of work and it can (very unlikely) but can brick your psp. Alright so say you have to psp with custon firmware on it, find a rom of the game and download it, or created an image from the cd you have (may or may not work because it is probably scratched deep if the Ps3 doesn't play it). Then you can take your psp mem card, pop it in the ps3, copy your save game file onto the card, throw that in your psp. And if all goes well you can start off right were you saved last from on your psp. I wouldn't recommend playing it on the psp too long as it is much more prone to freezing randomly o
