I used to have an Irish Wolfhound, they're one of the best breeds out there. They're gentle and calm, don't mind kids pulling on them, and are generally nice to have around. The breed was brought back from extinction through selective breeding, which is why there is no pedigree and they aren't shown in official dog shows
