What the world (ok, just us BB losers) needs is a version that externally controls the game clock. I'd be happy to participate in any tourney's that have a gentleman's agreement on a time-limit (i.e. set your clocks to 65 seconds on lev 1). But the only way to police that is the honor system and you know the first sore loser will cry foul.

And when you practice, you do it for an advantage... that's why you do it. Just because you choose not to do something doesn't mean its cheating for anyone else that does.

So does practicing.... which I also do... Just like titanium drivers in golf, those new Speedo swimsuits in swimming, compsite hockey sticks, those "clacker" skates in speed skating, etc. etc. Just because you choose not to use something doesn't mean that anyone who does is cheating

I'm soooo sorry that the crack programming squad over at Mousebreaker's didn't tie the game clock to a real time clock - in which case anyone with a slower cpu would have a disadvantage instead of an advantage. Trust me, you are the one that doesn't get it, your whole argument hinge's on the premise that if no one used speed software that everyone's computer would run at the exact same speed as yours.

Well that depends... When i used a pentium 4 that took like 80-85 seconds to run down level 1, was that cheating? Or is it only cheatnig when I use speed software on my newer computer to get it to run like a pentium 4. The proof is in the pudding pal... and bcn's got the best pudding on ebaum's
