* Pet Peeve and Official Notice to "Friends" *
Not a day goes by that I don't get a "friend" invite on this site. 99 times out of a hundred it's from someone I've never heard of, never spoken with, and have never even seen here. Apparently the term "friend" has a far different definition in the online world than it does in the physical world. I have no interest in building a roster of "friends" that I will never interact with on any level, just so I can boast that I have a gazillion "friends". So....if this is the kind of "friend" you are looking for, please do not send me "friend invites". They will be deleted. I am always happy to add "friends" with whom I've actually had some interaction or even (gasp) conversation.
