In the fall of 2003, producers for the Discovery Channel show "DIRTY JOBS" contacted controversial artist Stephen Paternite, inviting him to participate in a new television series showcasing a variety of difficult and often distasteful jobs. They had witnessed his unique Roadkill Creations on his website and wanted a hands-on demonstration.
