Spanish Fork police officers Jared Warner, Bryan Dewitt, and Tyler Beddoes, plus firefighters Paul Taultomadakis and Lee Mecham, were those on the scene. All three officers later recalled hearing a "distinct voice" that spurred their rescue attempt.
