My girlfriend and I rented a scooter in the Dominican 2 weeks ago while on vacation, June 2015. 20 minutes after renting the scooter, a man sped towards us and purposely drove head on into us. My girlfriend sustained a serious injury to her leg and we were forced to pay for the damages to the scooter. We are convinced it was a scam. Be safe!
