Maria Steinmayr's leap in the BASE Jump Extreme World Championship in Benidorm, Spain, took an ugly turn when her parachute opened the wrong way and she was slammed into the building. She eventually found a landing spot on the 10th-floor balcony of a room where the guests had helpfully left the sliding door unlocked.
