People Are Making A.I. Thirst Traps of Greta Thunberg

And they should be ashamed of themselves.

Greta Thunberg, the Swedish climate activist, is partaking in her second Gaza aid mission, dubbed the Global Sumud Flotilla, which consists of 50 ships from at least 44 countries. The flotilla is carrying food, water and medical supplies in an attempt to assist Palestinians trapped in Gaza.

However, that’s not what has caught the attention of the internet. Instead, a photo of Thunberg in a tight-fitting shirt has been edited with A.I. to reveal her chest. Which is gross, of course, but if it gets people to support her cause, maybe it’s worth it?

I’m only half-serious, but if Thunberg does decide to exploit her sexuality for a good cause, she wouldn’t be the first.

“Naked Philanthropy,” as it’s called, has been around for years and been used by countless men and women to raise money for good causes, most notably by Kaylen Ward, a California-based Instagram model who sold nudes to help raise money for Australia’s devastating wildfires in 2020.
