Amazon Is Already Selling A.I. Books About the Charlie Kirk Assassination

What level of hell is this?

Amazon isn’t known for its quality. It’s a bad place to work, and it’s an even worse place to buy stuff. But that doesn’t stop people from shelling out their hard-earned cash for the convenience of next-day deliveries.

So, it really shouldn’t be a shock that Amazon is already littered with hundreds, if not thousands, of A.I.-generated books cribbing off the news of Charlie Kirk’s death. During a short search through Amazon’s book listings, I found countless titles about the life, death and assassination of Charlie Kirk, all seemingly written by A.I.

One book in particular, The Assassination of Charlie Kirk: The Left, the Right and the Secret Society That Controls Them Both, is for sale on Kindle for just 99 cents. It’s 61 pages long and was posted on Amazon just hours after Kirk was pronounced dead.

The author is someone named Born Power (what a stupid name), who isn’t even hiding the fact that the book is written by A.I., as on the cover, underneath the “authors” name, it has a tagline that reads, “Powered by ChatGPT.”
