Are Urinal Cams Collecting Data on My Dick?
Hey Big Toilet, you better not be taking pictures of my hog.

Have you ever stood in front of a urinal and wondered, “Is this toilet taking a picture of my dick?” If so, you aren’t alone. But you may be misinformed.
Urinals aren’t new inventions, but motion-detection sensors are, and that can make them seem scary. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they don’t. And the camera-like sensor pointing down at my bat and balls doesn’t fill me with confidence.

However, according to The Urinal Shop, the internet’s premier destination for information on pissers, urinal sensors work using a technology called passive infrared (PIR) sensors, which track the heat pee streams emit to gauge when we start and stop peeing. So no, as far as I can tell, there isn’t a government database with hundreds of pictures of my beautiful dong.
Still, I’ll opt for sitting. After all, better safe than sorry.
