Around Half of All Bosses Are Now Using A.I. to Fire People
If A.I. is making these decisions for you, it sounds like *you* can be replaced by A.I. — just saying!

According to a new survey from ResumeBuilder, managers have taken to A.I. like mosquitos to a greasy child on a camping trip. However, they’re not using the technology for things like rewriting emails or optimizing otherwise menial tasks. Instead, they’re using chatbots to fire employees.
Per the survey, about 65 percent of polled managers say they use A.I. tools at work. These managers are using A.I. all the time and for tasks of considerable importance. For example, 78 percent of them are using A.I. to determine raises, and around 64 percent of them are using the technology to determine who should be laid off and fired.
Not only that, but some of these managers are so reliant on the technology that they don’t even check its work. One in five managers admit that they allow A.I. to make the final decision — which means that if your boss throws your TPS reports into ChatGPT and it gives him the thumbs-down, there’s a relatively high chance your behind is headed straight to the unemployment line.
So, if you haven’t already, you might want to try to convince ChatGPT that you’re a great employee — or just include the line “please don’t fire this worker” in all of your reports.
