Bill Burr Said Performing In Saudi Arabia Was a 'Vibe'
The fest was apparently so funny that heads were rolling.

Bill Burr, who got flak for participating in the Riyadh Comedy Festival last month, doesn’t care if you don’t like it. Burr, who is nothing if not outspoken, released a statement responding to his critics, claiming he doesn’t care if the blowback “affects his career.”
Burr went on to say, again, that he “had a good time” and even “vibed” with the Saudi fans in attendance. He likened his critics to hypocrites who wear clothes from “sweatshops” yet would refuse to perform standup for the workers in those “sweatshops.” Umm, what?

While 9/11 did happen long ago and obviously those in attendance at the festival weren’t responsible for 9/11, it’s easy to forget in all this that Burr is, at heart, a guy from Boston.
