Bryan Johnson Admits His Obsession With Longevity Has Gotten Out of Control
He’s starting to see the light.

After taking a heroic dose of magic mushrooms over the weekend, longevity influencer Byran Johnson says he’s realized his obsession with not dying has gone too far.
In a post on X, Johnson lamented that his lifestyle has made it hard to do simple things most people take for granted, like traveling without hauling around an entire CVS worth of pills and tinctures, admitting that his fans are “right” and that he’s taken things too far.
I’m in D.C. for a thing. Packing my longevity for travel is a lot. A pair of underwear and toothbrush would be so much easier. Sometimes I think you’re right and this whole thing has gotten out of control and I need to chill.

Johnson initially prodded fans and critics who claimed his five-gram dose of shrooms would change him. But just three days later, he seems to be changing course, that is, if you believe him. Regardless of whether Johnson actually learned anything from his trip, he’s become more than just a “longevity influencer.” He’s become an influencer-influencer.
And he knows it.
The only thing Johnson now fears more than death is being irrelevant.
