Cracker Barrel Relents Again, Announces They Won’t Be Remodeling Their Restaurants After All

Cracker Barrel came under fire last month for its short-lived logo redesign, which included the removal of its namesake cracker and barrel. Now, the company has announced that it won’t be remodeling its restaurants either, as it had previously planned to, and in some cases, had already done.
In a message posted on X, Cracker Barrel said: “You’ve shared your voices in recent weeks not just on our logo, but also on our restaurants. We’re continuing to listen. Today, we’re suspending our remodels. If your restaurant hasn’t been remodeled, you don’t need to worry; it won’t be. With our recent announcement that our ‘Old Timer’ logo will remain, along with our bigger focus in the kitchen and on your plate, we hope that today’s step reinforces that we hear you.”

Cracker Barrel, of course, doesn’t actually care about the “Old Timer” logo, nor does it really care about their customers' opinions; however, they do care about money, and it became very clear to them that their plans to revitalize Cracker Barrel would have cost them a lot of it.
But before you chalk this up as a win, remember, they didn’t say anything about improving the food.
