D.C. Plastic Surgeons Say Insiders Are Requesting ‘Mar-a-Lago Face’ to Get Close to Trump

Get yourself a tan, a little lip filler, and a cannon blast of makeup — congratulations, you’re ready to meet the President!

If you’ve noticed that a lot of political figures are starting to look the same, don’t worry, you’re only as insane as the rest of us.

In short, anyone in government who isn’t a hundred years old (which, in fairness, isn’t that many people) suddenly has a Botox-tight face, fake tan, thick lips, and way, way too much makeup. What’s going on?

The answer is a phenomenon called “Mar-a-Lago Face.” According to Axios, D.C. insiders are convinced that looking this way is a surefire method to get closer to Trump. They’re so certain of it, in fact, that Mar-a-Lago Face-related surgeries are skyrocketing in the D.C. area.

While many plastic surgeons advertise their ability to make cosmetic enhancement look less noticeable, D.C. area surgeons say they’re getting an influx of political insiders who “want to look like they had something done.” This typically includes Botox and a whole lot of filler.

Although many plastic surgeons have complied with these requests, they also warn of the potential for some of these people to get “filler blindness,” where one gets so much work done to their face that they “lose sight of anatomic normalcy.” The news makes so much sense now!

But does this actually work? One can only speculate — no reporter has been brave enough to ask Trump directly about “Mar-a-Lago Face,” so I guess we’ll never know. But, if you want a career in politics, blonde hair dye is pretty cheap!
