The Polls Are Open for Fat Bear Week
It’s that time of the year when you can vote on who the fattest bear in America is.

Do you like bears? Do you like it when bears are really, really fat? Well, you’re going to love Fat Bear Week. Starting September 23rd and running through the 30th, you’re encouraged to cast your vote for the “Fattest Bears in America.”
This is a single-elimination tournament, so you can only vote once for your favorite fat bear, and the Fat Bear Jr. is already underway, so don’t wait to cast your vote. The winner of the Jr. competition will be announced later today.

All the bears call Katmai National Park in Alaska, home and are doing their best to bulk up for their winter hibernation. So don’t feel bad voting for the fattest ones, that’s the whole point.
