Gen Z Protestors Have Toppled Another Government
Gen Z is rising up.

In America, we tend to treat Gen Zers with kid gloves. Headlines about why they don’t date, have no motivation and can’t make careers for themselves are all too common. But if you look around the world, Gen Z is starting to stand up for themselves.
Last month, Gen Z protestors led a revolt in Nepal, successfully overthrowing their government after a social media crackdown. Now, the same is happening in Madagascar. After weeks of student-led protests, Madagascar’s president, Andry Rajoelina, has been ousted and replaced by the military.

The military-backed coup was fueled by Gen Z demonstrators demanding Rajoelina’s government provide better access to basic needs like water and electricity.
Gen Z is on a generational run this year, but only time will tell if the rest of the world catches on.
