Take it from us: The internet can be a pretty brutal place. If you’ve been online for a good portion of your life, chances are high that you’ve read some nasty stuff and seen some unspeakable things — then showed those things to your friends to gross them out.

Now, the internet has calmed down a bit, but that doesn’t mean it’s always the most pleasant place to be. In fact, a recent studyfound that almost half of people between the ages of 16 and 21 said that they would prefer to live in a world without the internet.

Okay, I hear you — not having internet means never having to see Blue Waffle, which is nice, but it also means not being able to get McDonald’s delivered, so are you really willing to give it up?
